Originally from Johannesburg with a rich heritage, fluency in four languages, and 35 years in tourism, Inge Barker has been a key part of Tour d’Afrique for over three decades.

She has explored nearly every corner of Africa—from walking in Kruger to climbing Namibia’s dunes, cruising the Zambezi, and uncovering Laikipia’s hidden gems.

Now based in Cape Town, she blends her love for adventure with deep expertise of the African continent. Since relocating in 1996, Inge has orchestrated logistics for prestigious events and hosted luminaries, both groups and individual travellers, tour series and special interest tours. With a passion for Africa and a talent for seamless operations, she crafts bespoke journeys that bring the continent’s wild beauty to life.

Director

Craig, a distinguished graduate from the University of
Stellenbosh with a business degree, invested in Tour
d’Afrique two decades ago, captivated by its infinite
potential.

Formerly a SAP Sales and Distribution IT consultant
serving corporations like Chevron/Texaco, Craig
seamlessly integrated his formidable IT expertise and
corporate finesse into the fabric of Tour d’Afrique. At the
helm of his responsibilities is the strategic expansion of
the business, and implementation of cutting-edge IT
systems, elevating customer service standards and
streamlining turnaround times to cater to the
discerning needs of our esteemed clientele.

DIRECTOR

As the esteemed General Manager and Head of
Product at Tour d’Afrique, Nicky channels her
profound passion for Africa into every aspect of her
role. From the continent’s rich cultural tapestry to the
captivating allure of its wildlife, every experience she
curates reflects her deep connection to Africa.

A passionate photographer, Nicky captures the
essence of Africa’s beauty through her lens, enriching
her personal journeys and professional work alike. At
TDA, she leads with heart, ensuring that every journey
becomes a meticulously crafted experience for
discerning travelers, designed to resonate deeply and
authentically.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Margrey started her finance journey by graduating from the University of the Free State. After completing her CTA and auditing articles in the heart of the Free State, this Golden Key Society Member joined a national construction company based in Bloemfontein.

Relocating to Cape Town and joining the TDA team a couple of years later, she heads up the Finance Department for the last 16 years. As a firm believer of having a “hands-on-approach”, Margrey has always enjoyed being involved in all aspects of the business.
With a passion for Africa, experiences, people and numbers – the balance offered by working in tourism is the ideal scenario for this F1 and rugby loving child of Africa
